The worst thing a liberal can do is stand in the path of a herd of stampeding RagingElephants!

I attended the Raging Elephants event July 10, 2010 in Bellefontaine, OH and found not only inspiration and motivation in Apostle Claver's talk, but well-reasoned arguments for why the GOP has no more time to sit back on its haunches and complain that the DEMS and Libs are walking off with non-white voters.

Claver's message would probably stick in the craw of most of our political candidates, but it makes a lot of sense in today's racially-tense times. As Claver said,

"When the Left pulls out and uses the race card it's because they have lost the argument; that's when we have to go harder on the attack."

I have believed from almost the start of Barack Obama's campaign that the race wars would get a lot worse before they got better, and that saving the country from the evils of socialism just isn't important enough; personal pet peeves and slights take the day.

Claver's voice is one of those from the wilderness, acknowledging the racial problems but attaching no importance to them if they become a distraction from the promotion of conservative values or the founding principles.

Sitting there in the nearly empty auditorium I realized that to sign on with Raging Elephants was going to be something akin to jumping off a cliff yet knowing it was the only thing to do.

I'm going to spread the word to the rest of the northern Ohioans. Claver told us he'll be back and I'm just hoping it's because Cuyahoga and Lake and Lorain counties ask him.

Later.
